A calm double finished in walnut milled in Gilgit, on the interior corridor away from the highway. The desk is wide enough to actually work at, and the fibre connection holds up for video calls — a rarity this far up the Karakoram.

Quiet, comfortable, well run
A genuinely quiet room, which matters on a road as busy as the KKH. Only note is that the restaurant closes fairly early, so plan dinner before nine.
